French Dictionary + App Reviews

Good! But Sometimes you cant find a word. Not big vocabulary. On other hand the vocabulary available is good enough. Some options ( like games, word of the day, random vocabulary) make your study fun, if you have time to play around. I like it.

I think its a pretty good app. Has a good amount of phrases and words. The only thing is it doesnt have a lot of phrases that are commonly used and Im finding myself going to Google more than I should have to.

I mostly use it for it for French word of the day than a dictionary.

I dont understand why you dont put the gender of the words when you define them. Thats a big gaff.

I like the word if the day. Helps me to learn french continually.

Concise helpful definitions. Easy to access vocabulary. If one were able to hear the French pronunciations that would bd very helpful.

Very thorough as far as a dictionary is concerned. I like the daily notifications; helps me stay on top of my studying the language.

great app so far but the real test is if my boyfriend can understand my translations

It has plenty of words, but it doesnt conjugate verbs. Also when I look up pouvoir, it doesnt show up alone. Please have conjugated verbs. It would be a 5 star if it did.

Nice refresher! Wish the masculine or feminine article "Le" or "la" would be provided for nouns, though.

Without knowing the gender of the words, this is a useless dictionary. Does anyone know if the "paid" version has the gender of the word? I end up having to look up the words in a real dictionary, so whats the point of this software? The "le" and "la" are very important in French. Not sure what they were thinking by leaving out this vital information.

Generally useful. Greatest weakness is not showing gender of nouns.

This app has come in so handy! The only problem is that the words have no articles. As a French student, the la and le are very important! Please fix.

Easy to use and very handy. Word of the day us à nice touch.

This is much more than a dictionary -- its a thesaurus, a game, and a great help with vocabulary through the use of flashcards. My only complaint is that it doesnt indicate gender until you open the definition,which otherwise isnt always necessary.
